Getting hat hair after 18 holes of golf is something most golfers have to deal with, but World No 1 Scottie Scheffler won't be thanking Taylormade for this airbrushing effort after his Open victory on Sunday.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted how Taylormade had edited a thicker hairline onto Scheffler's head in their post celebrating the American's fourth major, comparing it to a post from the PGA Championships, which showed the original photo.
Some of the comments were hilarious, with one user saying: "As a bald guy, I’m blacklisting all TM products from my household from this point forward."
Another said: "I’m amazed by how uncomfortable society has gotten with balding people. It’s something that happens normally but we just can’t stand it. Leave the dude alone my gosh lol"
Fans also spotted how they removed his right nipple from the original picture, too.
Scheffler's fourth major was a procession at Royal Portrush, winning by four shots.
"It [winning] is a pretty special feeling, it was a tough week, I battled hard," Scheffler told Sky Sports. "I played some really good golf and am fortunate to be holding the trophy.
"I used to wake up early to watch this tournament on TV, hoping and dreaming that I would get a chance to play in it. To be here with the trophy, it is hard to put into words."
Rory McIlroy finished seven back, and said: "I'm really pleased with my week. I wish I had have been closer to Scottie going into today and been able to make a real push. But he's been on a different level all week and he's been on a different level for the last two years to the rest of us.
"He is the bar that we're all trying to get to at this point, so hats off to him. He's an unbelievable player, an incredible champion and a great person too."
