Bubba Watson was already in the mood when he took part in the Masters Par 3 tournament.

And it gets better.
Watson has made a name for himself as a conjurer of superb golf shots and a bellicose golfer to carry a bag for. Fortunately for us, and his caddy, the former skills were on sow at Augusta National in the second round.
Faced with a shot into the green that only a geometrist or wristy hurler would even consider, Watson settled into the pinewood and got busy.
Having found the brush, and with a tree right in front of him, the 39-year-old hooked his second shot around and hooped it onto the green from way out.

The reaction was just as awestruck as it was back in 2012 when the Florida native pulled off another viciously beautiful hook to claim a playoff victory.

He missed the resulting birdie putt but did put up a shot on the 13th to reach -3 and put himself well into the mix heading into the final two rounds.
All hail Bubba. Life is rarely dull...
