Lee Chin is handy at sport. Just about all of them.
The Wexford hurling star is preparing for the championship summer by playing a spot of football for his local club, Sarsfields.
Over the weekend, Chin lined out for Sarsfields in the Wexford Senior Football clash with Shelmaliers. He had a fine time of it and scored 2-4 in the process.
Both of Chin’s goals arrived in the first half. The first saw him beat two men to a high ball to fist home and the second, well, that was special.
Taking advantage of a short kick-out that went awry, Chin sized up his scoring options. With three Shelmaliers defenders bearing down, Chin spotted the goalkeeper back-pedalling towards his line and kicked a delicious lob.
Some may argue the 24-year-old did not mean it but his look up before shooting convinces us he certainly did. Check out both goals below, posted by Wexford GAA last night:
Despite his impressive scoring return, Sarsfields lost out by six points – 2-14 to 2-8.
Good to see Chin is keeping himself in scoring shape.
