As if Rob Hennelly’s 45′ midway through the first half of Mayo’s Allianz League clash with Dublin wasn’t impressive enough on its own, it’s made all the more spectacular due to the fact that it was kicked into a swirling wind.
Cillian O’Connor’s absence turned out to be a non-issue as the Mayo ‘keeper absolutely wellied it between the sticks to give Mayo the lead in Castlebar for the second time.
We thought Michael Murphy and Cork’s Luke Connolly set the bar impossibly high last week but Hennelly confidently leaped over it with this effort.
