We don’t know if this crowd are German’s playing GAA, or Irish people singing in German, but, either way, it has fecking well made our Monday.
There are very few Irish people in the world who don’t know at least one Fr.Ted quote. For hardcore fans, reciting lines and lines of the famous TV show can become not only an obsession, but a daily job.
So we’re taking our hats and boots off to the Munich Colmcilles GAA side who decided to belt out this classic Ted tune on the way home for a tournament at the weekend in Padova
The version has even got the seal of approval of the man who wrote the original, the Divine Comedy’s Neil Hannon
