Sweaty palms, itchy eyes and an inexplicable interest in England’s cricket series in South Africa?
Sounds like you’ve come down with a classic case of GAA withdrawal symptoms. Heaven knows the off-season isn’t long, but we can all agree it is longer than the first series of ‘Making a Murderer’.
We get it, you’re running out of things to watch and you’re waiting anxiously for the return of Gaelic football and hurling to our television screens.
Blessedly we got our prescription this afternoon with the announcement of Setanta’s Allianz League line-up.
No prizes for predicting that the new season will pick up where the last left off, with the meeting of last year’s All-Ireland finalists Dublin and Kerry in Croke Park on 30 January.
