It’s the biggest day in the club calendar in Connacht.
Galway club football champions Corofin are in action against Castlebar Micthells this afternoon, looking to move one step closer to retaining their provincial and All-Ireland crowns.
There’s a very decent crowd packed into St Jarlath’s Park in Tuam for the game, as everyone expected a tight game against two powerhouses of Connacht club football.
However, spectators and viewers on TG4 have been left largely frustrated as the length of the grass at the stadium which has been very vexing for lots of people
It's a cold one here in Tuam Stadium!! @CorofinGAA and @MitchelsGaa will certainly need these warm ups! #TheToughest pic.twitter.com/D7LAc9TxCA

We can’t be exactly sure but we’d be fairly positive that the chances of grass growing very quickly in November are slim, which would indicate the field was not cut in the last number of days before today’s final.
Corofin and Castlebar Mitchels deserve better than to be playing on an uncut cabbage pitch that is flanked by a cow shed.

@DeiseHurling Long grass and soft ground, a combo to ensure the ball won't bounce properly

Pitch absolutely disgraceful in Tuam for Connaught club final on @GAA_BEO final hard to believe this day & age #total-disrespect to plyrs

@Conmort the pitch is a joke… Looks like it was ploughed not cut! Mitchell's look the better team, giving away easy ball though

It looks like the pitch in #Tuam was cut by a lad in a Sherman tank more Ruts than the deer in Phoenix park #casvcoro @GAA_BEO
