Andy Moran wants this All-Ireland final like you won’t believe.
The Mayo forward has had one hell of a half against Dublin in the All-Ireland final.
Despite coming in for close attention from Jonny Cooper and Michael Fitzsimons, Moran has run amok. Service has been good but the veteran forward has crafted a few scoring chances off his own bat.
After a frenetic opening half, Moran had 0-3 and had played a part in two other Mayo scores.
Jonny Cooper
Philly McMahon
Mick Fitzsimons
Having ripped Kerry apart in the semi final and replay, many expected Dublin to shackle Moran but their defenders were finding it next to impossible to do so.
Needless to say, the praise for Moran was effusive:
Don't care what happens after this but nobody deserves player of the year more than Andy Moran.has led the Mayo line superbly all season❤️💚💚
