What Myshall have been doing in Carlow for the bones of the last two decades has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Myshall have added more silverware to 2017’s impressive haul.
In March, the Carlow club travelled to Croke Park to claim the intermediate All-Ireland intermediate camogie championship by beating Tyrone’s Eglish by a solitary point. This marked Myshall’s first All-Ireland title since they scored back-to-back junior championships in 2012 and 2013.
On Saturday, they bested Mt Leinster Rangers in Netwatch Cullen Park by 2-12 to 0-5 to claim yet another county title. The one-sided win means that they remain the only club in Carlow to have lifted the senior camogie county title this millennium.
We'd never hear the end of this if it was men's football https://t.co/QTIs1On5VQ

They have been the best camogie players in the county since 1999, claiming the top prize for the past 18 years on the trot.
To put that into perspective, the last time Myshall did not win the Carlow championship, Gay Byrne was the host of the Late Late Show, The Big Lebowski was being rented on VHS across the country and Limp Bizkit were about to make Nu Metal the most popular alternative music genre.
Seems like an age ago, doesn’t it? Imagine how long it feels for the other clubs who haven’t been able to usurp Myshall’s throne during all that time.
While this may very well be a Leinster record, they have quite bit to go to catch up on Ballymacarbry who just claimed their 36th Waterford senior camogie championship in a row.
The last time they did not win the trophy, well, Gay Byrne was also the Late Late Show host, Raiders of the Lost Ark was the big summer blockbuster and bands like REO Speedwagon were topping the charts.
