It’s one of the most eagerly anticipated GAA jerseys in recent times.
Kerry GAA have been hyping up this jersey for some time now. Kingdom players past and present have been talking about it, tweeting about it, ramping up the anticipation for it.
Their retro style green and gold home geansaí went down a treat with GAA followers nationwide after its release a month or two ago.
It got its competitive debut in the opening round of the National League last weekend against Donegal in Fitzgerald Stadium.
Kerry legend and fashionista Paul Galvin designed that bad boy and he was back again for the away one this time around.
That gets its debut tonight when Eamon Fitzmaurices’ men travel to MacHale Park, Castlebar to renew acquaintances with their conquerors in last year’s All-Ireland semi-final, Mayo.
This is the piece of kit that their players will wear.
In fairness, it’s a beautiful top. Simple, but classy. It reminds us of a recent Arsenal away jersey.
The old-style lines half-way down the sleeves blend in well with the overall vintage style theme.
