Where did these come from?
Two changes. One for the champions. One for the contenders.
Eoghan O’Gara has been named in the Dublin team to start against Mayo in the All-Ireland final.
Jim Gavin has made an 11th hour change ahead of the clash at Croke Park and whilst talk before the game circulated around the possibility of Diarmuid Connolly or Paul Flynn coming into the 15, bustling full forward Eoghan O’Gara has added a whole different dimension to the line-up.
O’Gara comes in for Niall Scully and will most likely take station at the edge of the square.

It’s a shock move considering how much Andrews enjoys playing against Mayo but it’s also a move which could cause serious rethinking in the Connacht camp. O’Gara wouldn’t have been expected to start and, when you consider that Rochford reacted to the presence of Kieran Donaghy by pull back Aidan O’Shea, you’d wonder who they’d fancy to wrestle with O’Gara for the full game.
The Mayo team has also been changed with Paddy Durcan named to start and Diarmuid O’Connor missing out.
