Kerry, Kilkenny and Mayo will all be well represented next month in the first of this year’s All-Ireland club finals.

Sides from the three respective counties all enjoyed success this afternoon in their All-Ireland junior and intermediate club semi-finals with six club teams winning the eight semi-finals this weekend.

Pat Spillane and his brothers will get a chance to see their sons in action next month as Templenoe booked their place in the All-Ireland junior football club final with a 1-9 to 0-5 win over Curraha of Meath.

The decider next month will be a Kerry-Mayo match-up after Ardnaree Sarsfields got the better of Monaghan outfit and Ulster champions Rockcorry by 0-11 to 0-6.

It was a game not short of fight from either side as the referee was kept busy during the game.

But the Mayo side kept their cool, which maybe had something to with blueberries, oddly enough

In the All-Ireland intermediate football semi-finals, Maurice Fitzgerald will be back in Croke Park once again as he’s guided his St Mary’s side to next month’s club finale after a decisive 2-20 to 1-5 win over Ratoath from Meath.

Both clubs showed a touch of class on Twitter after the game.

The other semi-final also saw Mayo side Hollymount-Carramore prove too strong for Loughlinisland of Down by 0-15 to 0-10.

In the hurling action Kilkenny sides came up trumps again this weekend as Glenmore and Bennettsbridge proved too strong for their opponents.

In the Junior semi-final Kilkenny senior stars Eoin Murphy and Ger Aylward once led the charge as they disposed of Cork side Dungourney by 3-10 to 1-11.

The other semi-final saw Eoghan Rua of Derry shock Sylane of Galway with a 0-10 to 0-4 win in Ballyshannon.

The first intermediate hurling semi-final on Saturday saw last year’s Junior champions Bennettsbridge prove too strong for Clare’s Wolfe Tones in a 0-15 to 0-8 win.

The second semi final has set up a Kilkenny-Galway All-Ireland final as the Abbeyknockmoy beat Creggan Kickhams by 1-13 to 0-9.

The All-Ireland Junior and Intermediate finals are fixed for the weekend of 6 and 7 February.
