And we go again.
The weakest county champions have been weeded out, the strongest, they’re still standing and they’re hunting for further glory.
The weekend just past threw up some more thrills but there were no really unexpected spills. In Connacht, favourites Corofin and Ballintubber are still on course for a final.
In Ulster, Gaoth Dobhair and Eoghan Rua are announcing themselves as coming forces but Cross are still lurking. Leinster is still wide open though Kilmacud Crokes will be tipped.
The Nire are showing the Waterford county board what they can do in Munster when given the chance but it’s hard to see past Dr Crokes down there.
The best thing is, we’ll do it all again next weekend.
