GAA world, take a look at Laois TV.
Gaels all over the planet won’t miss a beat from the Laois championship – or at least anything that matters – with the new free service that’s been launched to offer footage, highlights and reports from the very best of the O’Moore county.
With commentary coming courtesy of Cóilín Duffy, the Laois championship is boasting a very special product that will be the envy of most of Ireland and, when they’re able to capture Donie Kingston in full flow like he was this week, who on God’s green earth wouldn’t want to sit back and marvel at it?
Yep, there’s not much Laois TV aren’t all over now.
And thank Christ too because what Donie Kingston was doing in the senior football championship for Arles-Killeen was just plain crazy.
The big Laois player hit over five points (four from play) in the draw with Portarlington but two of them were like he was playing in an age group that he was about six years over the bar for.
Picked out by Laois TV as two of the top 10 scores of the week, Kingston’s first sees him walk around the Port defence, swatting lads out of his way like they were just pests until he gets a bit of peace to knock it over.
The second is just the classic ‘get it out to the big lad and get the hell out of his way’ tactic.
Big kickout down the middle, Kingston catches and carries the ball straight through the middle and down to the 21′ to knock over a simple point.
But it didn’t even make the top two in the Laois TV scores of the week.
Laois GAA TV is available at www.laois-tv.ie where the key action this summer in the Laois Shopping Centre Senior and Intermediate Football; and Senior and Senior ‘A’ Hurling Championships will be covered along with plenty of other games.
