CONFIRMED: All the relegations and promotions in the National Football League

It went right down to the wire

Conan Doherty

Jesus, what drama.

On a day that started off with Kerry in sixth place in Division One and looking over their shoulders at a potential relegation, it ended with the Kingdom in the final to take on Dublin one more time before championship.

Dublin, incidentally, found themselves six points down in Monaghan with time ticking away in the second half but they of course found the answers – they always bloody do – and ended up stirring a nine-point swing to waltz into the Croke Park decider with three to spare.

Across all the top three divisions, relegation and promotion was still up for grabs so here it is nice and simple: the winners and losers – the movers – from the end of the National Football League.

Those promoted in divisions four, three and two will also contest the final in those respective divisions.

DIVISION ONE

Mayo 1-12 Donegal 0-13

Roscommon 1-13 Cavan 1-10

Relegation: Cavan, Roscommon.

Roscommon get their first points of the season but they were relegated already before Sunday.
