Back in April, Cian Johnson kicked 2-6 in the Leinster championship for Offaly.
Back in April, he wowed Gaels and, back in April, we told you to remember the name.
Cian Johnson hasn’t gone away anywhere.
On Sunday, he won an Offaly minor title, captaining Ferbane/Belmont to championship glory and, on Sunday, he helped out with a pretty decent individual scoring tally himself.
Ferbane/Belmont beat Edenderry 4-16 to 0-9 in the Faithful county decider. Cian Johnson scored 2-7.

On the old Sky Sports graphics when scorelines came in from soccer games in England, they used to put in brackets the written text beside a score that might’ve otherwise seemed unbelievable – they did it just to confirm that it wasn’t actually a typo.
When a team won 8-0, they’d clarify it with ‘8-0 (eight)’ to show that you’re not being bullshitted.
They’ll have to start doing that with Cian Johnson’s tallies soon. 2-7 (two, seven).
Last month, the corner forward helped Ferbane to the intermediate championship semi-final.

This weekend, he was leaving underage players on their arses again, ripping nets and splitting posts like it was going out of fashion.
Anne Marie Guinan of Midlands Sport captured his second goal in all its glory.
