Kerry goalkeeper Brendan Kealy has quit inter-county football it has been revealed.

The Irish Independent is reporting that the 2015 All-Star is frustrated with a lack of game time and has opted to leave the Kerry panel.

The 31-year-old has reportedly held talks with Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice where he informed him of his decision to leave the squad due to lack of game time.

The newspaper also reports that Kealy is open to return to the Kerry panel in the future.
