Given his imposing frame, the idea of keeping Zlatan Ibrahimovic quiet for a full 90 minutes must keep some Premier League defenders awake at night.
While his Manchester United teammates don’t have to worry about that too much, it appears the 6’5″ Swede is still capable of utterly scaring the shit out of them.
Just weeks after nearly kicking Phil Jones’ head clean off his shoulders when celebrating a goal at Swansea…
… another of his celebrations – this time at West Brom – has seemingly terrified Jesse Lingard.
Ibrahimovic scored twice at the Hawthorns on Saturday evening as United sealed their third straight league win, 2-0. The first came early on as he nodded home Lingard’s half-volleyed cross from the edge of Ben Foster’s six-yard box.
Having put the ball away, Ibrahimovic made his way over to Lingard to thank him for the assist. Clearly, as highlighted by the picture below, the 35-year-old’s decision to jump towards the midfielder caught Lingard by surprise.
Juan Mata shared the image when tweeting after the game, clearly concerned for his Warrington-born teammate.
Well done boys! Great win. @JesseLingard you ok? 😬😂 @ManUtd #mufc 🔴🔴 pic.twitter.com/BvAUaQMoo1

United’s next game sees them host Sunderland and former boss David Moyes on St. Stephen’s Day. After that, they welcome Middlesbrough to Old Trafford.
Win both of those, and United could well find themselves firmly back in the hunt for the top four.
