Just over 24 hours after the player announced he’d be making the move to Manchester United, the club have finally pulled their finger out and announced Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s arrival.
The worst kept transfer secret in memory is all but official as a 12-second video appeared on the official Twitter account of the Red Devils, showing Ibrahimovic emerging from the darkness sporting a United jersey.

Ibrahimovic is set to link up with Jose Mourinho after the pair enjoyed a fruitful spell together at Inter Milan.
And while billboards are erected and fans rush to get ‘Ibrahimovic’ emblazoned on the back of their jerseys for the 2016/17 season, the official statement is being written up by the club.
But there was no need to wait for that among some rabid United supporters who seemed to be a tad too excited by a short clip, the whole point of which was for the Swedish supporter to exclaim: “It’s Zlatan time.”
