Get this man a Ballon d’Or.
Roberto Soldado has already given Villarreal supporters more reason to love him than he did to Spurs fans with a cracking home debut.
After scoring his first Villarreal goal against Real Betis last week, the Spaniard scored another and set up two more in Villareal’s 3-1 victory over Espanyol on Friday night for a spectacular return to form.
The striker scored just 16 goals in his 76 appearances for Spurs but it looks like he’s not quite the lost cause that he was being written off as.
