We miss Shinji Kagawa in English football.
Mostly because the Evil Kagawa parody account was hilarious. Even Manchester United fans might have had a chuckle, despite the club’s terrible form last season.
Kagawa himself showed flickering signs of being a potentially great playmaker, but failed to settle at Old Trafford.
The Japanese midfielder is back at Borussia Dortmund though, and brilliantly set-up this goal today. Kagawa flicked a deft pass with the outside of his boot perfectly into the path of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to slot home.
If only he’d consistently found that magic touch while playing for United, we’d probably still have the Evil Kagawa account.
