VIDEO: Shamrock Rovers claim dramatic Dublin derby win over 10-man Bohemians

Keith Buckley saw red in the first half

The Dublin derby, quite literally, had it all.

A Dean Delaney penalty save in the opening exchanges was followed by a Keith Buckley sending off for a rash challenge on Gavin Brennan.

The below lunge was punished with a straight red card but, just minutes later, Kurtis Byrne put Bohs in front with a wonderful finish to some route one football.

But the ten men were up against it from there on out as Dean Clarke drew Shamrock Rovers level when Bohs’ defensive uncertainty resulted in a failure to clear the ball.

Five minutes later, more shoddy Bohs defending was exploited as Gary Shaw put the hosts in front.

And the half-time whistle hadn’t even blown at that stage.

The pace slowed understandably in the second half after the frenetic opening 45 but Rovers put the game to bed when Sean Boyd finished beautifully with 20 minutes to play.

What a game!
