Jurgen Klopp is sick of Liverpool’s poor defending at set-pieces.
The German was euphoric when Adam Lallana scored the last minute winner against Norwich City in a 5-4 thriller, losing his mind and his glasses as his players rushed to celebrate with him.
However, the joy soon dissipated when Klopp reflected on his side’s poor showing at defensive set-pieces. “It’s really rubbish what we’re doing,” Klopp told Des Kelly on BT Sports.
“It’s easy to play against us, because you don’t have to create chances, you only have to throw the ball over the line and then you get a set play. Then you bring your whole team into our box and something will happen.”
“We have to solve this.”
