So, so close!
If you are not aware, Ireland’s Group D opponents, Georgia and Serbia, are currently facing off at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi.
Irish hopes were elevated just minutes into the match when the home side took an unlikely lead through Nika Katcharava.
Early days but Georgia are 1-0 up against Serbia. 14 minutes gone #WCQ2018

Georgia held on to their lead admirably throughout the first half before disaster struck on the stroke of half-time.
Otar Kakabadze got on the wrong side of Filip Kostic and foolishly made contact with the forward in the penalty area.
The inevitable happened, Kostic felt the contact, went down and won the penalty.
Dusan Tadic stood up and dispatched the spot-kick with ease which leveled the sides as they entered the tunnel for half-time.
However, Georgia will have huge regrets over that first half as they became oh so close to taking a 2-0 lead.
Valeri Kazaishvili timed his run to perfection and received a through ball which left him with a one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
He had two choices, square it to his teammate or dispatch it in the corner.
He did neither and put the ball agonisingly wide.
Watch it below.
Ohhhhh! Georgia blowing a GLORIOUS chance to make it 2-0. Horrible miss after great build-up pic.twitter.com/fiCtg6x2pq
