A goalkeeper’s worst nightmare.
Poor Bernd Leno. The Bayer Leverkusen ‘keeper has been called up to the German national side for the first time in his career, and will be on the bench for Ireland’s game against the world champions on Thursday.
He marked the special occasion this afternoon by committing a god-awful, (but hilarious), howler that he’ll likely never forget during his side’s 1-1 draw with Augsburg.
Hopefully another German ‘keeper can make a similar howler against Ireland on Thursday.
