Watch: Gary Lineker’s dizzy penalty attempt shows it’s a lot harder than it looks

Miles off target

England and Gary Lineker’s penalty woes continue.

The former Spurs and Barcelona striker had the chance to equal Bobby Robson’s all-time England goalscoring record back in 1992.

Stuck on 48 goals, all Lineker had to do was dispatch a penalty against Brazil at Wembley, and this happened.

Lineker stepped back up to penalty spot recently, this time for charity, to take a dizzy penalty.

The Match of Day presenter shows that the exercise is a lot harder than it looks, as he hilariously skies his effort off-target.

However, it’s still probably not as bad as the penalty back in 92, and Gary showed he’s a good sport and raised money for charity.
