Watch: Christian Benteke may regret these comments made before today’s loss to West Ham

Liverpool fans will appreciate Christian Benteke's ambition.

However, the timing of these comments have proved rather unfortunate. Prior to today's game away to West Ham, the Liverpool striker spoke about how Liverpool should be aiming to win the Premier League, and how it's a possibility this season due to the open nature of the competition. Benteke had scored two winning goals in Liverpool's last two games, and the side sat five points off the Champions League spots, so things were looking up. Right?
