We can rule out Bayern Munich as a potential destination for Seamus Coleman in the near future.
It feels like every transfer window, we’re bombarded with rumours about Seamus Coleman’s imminent departure from Goodison Park. Manchester United have been heavily linked with the Everton player since Manchester was a part of Pangaea, but there has also been ‘reported interest’ from abroad.
One such club that has also been linked with a move for Coleman is Bayern Munich, but after their pre-match press conference before their second leg clash against Arsenal in the Champions League, that doesn’t seem to be a goer at all.

When a journalist asked if they were looking at Seamus Coleman as a potential replacement for Phillipe Lahm, Bayern boss Carlo Ancellotti gave an emphatic one-word response.
His firm ‘No’ caused a Mexican wave of giggles to circle around the room. Check it out in the video embedded below or you can watch it in Bayern Munich’s official stream of the presser from 19:30 onwards.
