A double against the Reds

DF10 looks like it will be a good watch.

Diego Forlan is revered in his home country of Uruguay.

The striker scored 36 goals in 112 games for his country and made a name for himself in La Liga with Villareal and Atletico Madrid.

Before that, he spent two seasons with Manchester United. He got off to a slow start at Old Trafford but his committed performances made him a cult favourite.

It switched to cult hero when he scored a brace against Liverpool in an away win, at Anfield.

In a soon-to-be-released film about Forlan, former United boss Alex Ferguson says, “Once he scored those two goals, right in front of our own supporters, against Liverpool, it created the legend.”

Forlan ended up scoring 10 times in 63 matches with United before going on to greater things.
