If you fell asleep after a terrible first 45 minutes, then you missed a cracking second half.
Manchester City and Sunderland played out a crazy second half in today’s Premier League game. After a spectacularly dull first half, the game sprang to life after Yaya Toure’s stunning strike in the 57th minute.
City doubled their lead seven minutes later with a tasty backheel finish from Stevan Jovetic. Sunderland then pulled one back through former City player Jack Rodwell. The Black Cats were then level five minutes later, Adam Johnson, another old City player, scored from the spot. However, unlike Rodwell, the winger annoyingly chose not to celebrate. To complete the crazy half, Frank Lampard came off the bench to win the game with his second touch of the game.
