Conditions are causing havoc in Tallaght tonight.

Shamrock Rovers are hosting St. Pats in the opening game of the League of Ireland season, and are currently leading thanks to a big help from the wind.

No, that’s not a nickname of a new Rovers player. The Tallaght side took the lead through a tidy finish from Danny North, after a Pats’ goal-kick was held up by the wind, allowing the striker to be played through on goal.
