Vine: Paul Pogba shows off Zidane-esque tekkers in stunning performance

What a player

Robert Redmond

Another week, another vine of Paul Pogba being ridiculously good at football.

This week, Serie A side Chievo are his victims.

Firstly, the Juventus midfielder receives the ball on the halfway line, surrounded by opposition players, and confined to an area of the pitch equivalent to that of a phone box, but somehow flicks and dodges his way past them.

The move had shades of Zinedine Zidane at his best and Pogba could follow his fellow Frenchman’s career path by moving from Juventus to Real Madrid. Almost every top European club have been linked with the 21-year-old and any potential transfer fee could reach €70million.

Pogba then opened the scoring for his side with a moment of magic. The midfielder nutmegs his opponent and then smashes a shot home with his left foot. Alex Ferguson didn’t make many mistakes in his 26 years at Old Trafford, but allowing this guy to leave for nothing was definitely one of them.
