Nigel Pearson continues his audition for world’s scariest human being.
The Leicester City boss was in his usual spiky form following the side’s goalless draw at home to Hull City today. The result leaves the Foxes rooted to the foot of the table and Pearson understandably disappointed.
However, spare a thought for the journalists who have to receive the usual Pearson patented deathstare upon asking each question following the game.
One journalist came in for extra special Pearson treatment today. The Leicester manager didn’t like a particular question about whether his players put pressure on the referee, and became noticeably frustrated when it was suggested the side were losing their fight to stay in the division.
At the end of the press conference, Pearson began talking, seemingly to himself, ‘waxing away, my arse’, before calling the journalist a ‘prick’ as he was leaving.
This is the latest episode in the Leicester City manager’s eventful first season in the Premier League. Pearson has previously got into a heated altercation with a fan, a scuffle with an opposition player and was reportedly sacked last month, before being reinstated a few hours later.
