If you didn’t know before, this girl can strike a ball.
She’s already rubbed shoulders with the like of Robin van Persie and James Rodriguez and now the Irish sensation is starting 2015 in pretty decent fashion, too.
Ireland beat World Cup finalists Costa Rica in the Istria Cup 2-1 and, whilst goalkeeper Niamh Reid Burke stopped a penalty at one end, Stephanie Roche was down the other hitting a left-footed half volley over the opposing number one and into the net.
It’s not quite what we saw for Peamount United last year but it is pretty darn good.
