Anthony Martial this, Kevin de Bruyne that but there’s not an awful lot being made of Spurs’ new signing Son Heung-min.
Mauricio Pochettino signed the South Korea international from Bayer Leverkusen for €30 million last week and he’s been showing off ever since.
The 23-year-old netted a delicious hat-trick in today’s 8-0 victory against Laos and there wasn’t a bad goal among them.
Son’s first came when he calmly controlled a cut-back and hammered a shot towards the near post, beating Sengdalavong.
It took almost an hour for Son to get his second goal which was the pick of the bunch as he rocketed a shot into the roof of the net from an improbable angle.
And Spurs’ new number 7 got his first international hat-trick when he dribbled into the box before opening his body and curling beyond the diving goalkeeper.
Watch all three goals below.
