There’s momentum, and then there’s Jose Mourinho to Manchester United.
Louis van Gaal can win all the big matches he wants it seems – and he does win a lot of them (as long as they’re against really good teams) – but United are looking set for a new manager for the 2016/17 season.
It was reported at the weekend that Mourinho had signed a pre-contract with United and, if he wasn’t in charge next season at Old Trafford, the club would owe him a hell of a lot of money.
Well the story isn’t going away, believe it or not.
Now, reputable Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio is saying that he understands that the Portuguese man is on his way to rekindle a friendly relationship with Pep Guardiola – this time in the same city.
The Sky Sports reporter answered the question of Mourinho’s pre-contract off his own Twitter account and stated that his sources tell him Mourinho is on the way.
