Sometimes you’ll see something for which you have no explanation. This is one of those times.
Robin van Persie’s judgement has been questioned on more than one occasion.
There’s that time he got sent off for Arsenal against Barcelona by playing on after the whistle blew.
Then there’s his decision to leave Manchester United for Fenerbahce when we’re almost certain it’s not what he or anyone else wanted (Fener fans aside).
Third on the list is his bizarre own goal for the Netherlands against the Czech Republic as Danny Blind’s team missed out on a Euro 2016 play-off place.

But we might have a new contender for the most bizarre of RVP’s life choices.
The Dutch striker has posted an R.Kelly cover to his YouTube account, which shows his transformation from uber-cool Premier League footballer to embarrassing dad singing in the car.
He gets way too invested in it. The hand movements, the falsetto, we don’t know what to think.
We’ve got no idea why he covered the windows if he was going to film it, either.
All we know is he’s no Steven Fletcher.
And he’s certainly no Clint Dempsey.
