Prior to the final game of the season, Brendan Rodgers had claimed that he was 150% positive that he’d be the Liverpool manager come the start of the 2015/16 campaign.
We think that percentage may have dropped considerably after the Reds’ miserable showing at the Britannia Stadium this afternoon which saw them hammered 6-1.
And certain members of the away fans, who Rodgers had praised for so long, vented their unhappiness at their current manager by singing the name of the man who delivered them the Champions League in 2005.
At half-time, with Liverpool already trailing 5-0, the travelling support erupted in chants of “RAAAFA Benitez” which wouldn’t have come as music to the ears of the Brodge.
