Emir Spahic could be in for a long, long ban.
The Bosnian’s season looks to be over anyway, after an ankle injury picked up against Bayern Munich last night, but that looks to be the least of his worries after this video has emerged.
It shows Spahic clearly headbutting a steward at the BayArena after last night’s 0-0 draw in the DFB Pokal Cup, which saw Bayern Munich advance 5-3 on aggregate.
It was spotted on the website of German newspaper Bild, who are saying that the police are now involved in the incident.

It’s believed the incident happened as Spahic argued with the stewards, who wouldn’t allow his friends across to the changing rooms from their private box.
Forget about six weeks, he could be on the sidelines for quite some time. At the time of writing, Alan Pardew is believed to be preparing a £10m bid.
