Ian Wright’s pace with his feet has clearly translated to the quickest of wit.
The Arsenal legend was part of a panel ahead of Arsenal’s Champions League opener against Dinamo Zagreb and he outfoxed host Gary Lineker who opened the programme by taking the mick out of Arsenal’s lack of European success.
After claiming that the closest Wright would get to the Champions League trophy was lifting it up in the studio, the former striker fired back by likening Lineker’s head to the cup on account of his famous big ears.
