VIDEO: Good grief, Chris Forrester netted another sublime goal for St Pat’s

Look and learn Vieira

Patrick McCarry

When will the golazo madness end?

Chris Forrester has built a healthy reputation, over the last three seasons, as the scorer of sweet, succulent goals.

Last night, in a friendly match against Patrick Vieira’s Man City development squad, at Richmond Park, the winger finished off a superb tiki-taka team move.

10 slick passes were sent and dispatched before a neat through-ball sent Forrester in on goal. His finish was cool, calm and emphatic.

And, if you like good, homegrown Irish goals, you should enjoy this chested finish from Anto Hewitt of O’Devaney Dunard against Usher Celtic.

As Irish Soccer Leagues states, ’16-year-old Bobby Horan crossed the ball with the outside of his right boot and Hewitt calmly chested the ball over the onrushing keeper from Usher Celtic.’
