Conspiracy theorists everywhere.
We’ve all heard the suggestions that some Chelsea players simply didn’t contribute their maximum efforts under Jose Mourinho in order to get him the sack. In fact a few of the squad were referred to as ‘rats’ for a fair while.
But now there’s a new theory gathering momentum – that born winner Mourinho purposely sabotaged Chelsea’s season because he wanted to be sacked and take charge of his ‘dream club’, Man United.
The suggestion is that the Portuguese sensed that old mentor Louis van Gaal’s position was becoming increasingly precarious and went about ruining Chelsea’s season accordingly.
Thus far the bizarre theory had been pedalled, not surprisingly, by Man United fans. It obviousy suits their agenda to believe that Mourinho coveted them all along (and that his sacking wasn’t due to his fallibility)…
What if Jose engineered his sacking from Chelsea to get his dream job

But now actor Tamer Hassan has jumped on the bandwagon. Speaking on BT Sport, the 47-year-old offered up the very same theory – that Mourinho traitorously scuppered the Blues’ fortunes in order to jump ship to Old Trafford…
.@RealTamerHassan believes Jose Mourinho deliberately caused his @ChelseaFC exit in pursuit of the @ManUtd job https://t.co/Wuszmj0umT
