We’re going to go right ahead and say it. We love Alvaro Negredo.
The Spanish striker, who’s currently plying his trade for Valencia, showed that not all footballers are glamour-thirsty, self-absorbed narcissists by giving one special youngster a day to remember.
A touching video posted on Valencia’s official YouTube page shows seven-year-old David Colomer, who suffers from cerebral palsy, enjoying his first day out at the Mestalla on Sunday morning.
Something magical was in the air as the Valencia fanatic saw his team beat Getafe with his favourite player, Alvaro Negredo, scoring the winner.
And afterwards, the former Manchester City forward paid the little man a visit after the game and gave his biggest fan a signed jersey, as well as an appreciative embrace.
What a guy!
