Twitter was unanimous it’s complete disdain for Manchester United’s performance in the FA Cup tonight.
Louis van Gaal’s side could only manage a 0-0 draw with League Two side Cambridge United, who are 75 places below them in the league pyramid, and will now face a replay at Old Trafford.
Here’s how twitter reacted:
They should have put on the Bowls and stuck this on the red button.

Reckon plane spotting at Cambridge Airport would be more exciting, even though it doesn't have any scheduled flights in winter.

Why MUFC want replay: They have average match income of £3.86m. And Cambridge would get less than half of it ….

That second save from the Cambridge 'keeper was superb.

Before you's get on your high horse, I'm not comparing LVG to Moyes. But why is he immune to criticism? #mufc

Game over & this is a compliment to Manager Richard Money & his team, they took a leaf out of the Tony Pulis book of defending 4a £££replay

Ticket prices and attendance TBC but Cambridge set to make comfy £1m+ from replay. Wage bill covered for a year from that one match.

The magic of the FA Cup strikes again. Plucky Man Utd take Cambridge United to a replay.

That's the problem with Cambridge, always celebrating moral victories.

If United were to just leave Phil Jones in Cambridge, I would not protest

Brilliant strong performance by Cambridge, and their crowd on the standing terraces – fancy that! – sounded magnificent.

We will so end up like Liverpool. In the wilderness for years to come if there's no top 4 again. Judging by that football there won't be…

Magic of the Cup my arse. That was dire.

Louis van Gaal and every Man United player should be ashamed of themselves. Bring back Fergie and the hairdryer.
