Bit them in the arse.
By this stage we’ve all heard about the bizarre Bray Wanderers – North Korea saga.
Two months after labelling Wicklow as the “North Korea of Ireland for business”, the club are still getting stick for their flamboyant statement announcing the sale of their picturesque Carlisle Grounds.
Shamrock Rovers’ last away game of the season will see them take a trip to Bray to take on the Wicklow side, and they were quick to grasp the opportunity to take a swipe at Harry Kenny’s men.
The obvious joke proved impossible to resist for the Shams’ Twitter account, but it wasn’t long before the Wanderers were swiping back.
What followed was a terrific Twitter thread courtesy of our humorous clubs.
Cutting from the Tallaght based outift.
Our last away game of the season is a far one as we travel to North Korea next Friday October 20th to face @BrayWanderers. KO is 7.45PM 🛫

Solidarity between Wicklow and Sligo. That bond runs deep.
No need to involve us. But….. pic.twitter.com/lwKArJPtsE

Shams’ responded with a belter, referencing their involvement in Europe, inciting jealousy from Bray.
