Tough crowd.
Who’d be a pundit?
You’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t it seems. Unless you be like Gary Neville. Then you’re okay.
The trick with punditry is to be good. We’ve always said that.
But the sporting world felt trapped today in a wall of co-commentary hell. Kerry’s hammering of Kildare was illuminated by Tommy Carr. If you didn’t like that, you could simply flick over to the Community Shield being contested by Arsenal and Chelsea. Only to be greeted by Michael Owen.
Either way, the Twitter world was not one bit happy with the analysis on offer and, in a rare turn of events, the good people decided to air their grievances.
They’re all the same.

Leave poor Phil out of this.

Tommy apparently missed something.
Tommy Carr on James O'Donoghue…

The game wasn’t the worst of it.

Testify, Tommy.

Salt in the wounds.
Its bad enough getting a hammering but listening to Tommy Carr talk shit is unbelievable. Surely there's someone better than him

Actually, Michael Owen might’ve been more useful in Dublin.
