Key player.
If Norwich City are playing Premier League football this time next year they’ll have a lot to Wes Hoolahan to thank for. The Dubliner’s fine form continued today when he scored an equaliser for his side against Everton.
Romelu Lukaku gave the away side the lead in the first half, but early in the second period a Robbie Brady corner was headed back across the goal, Ross Barkley’s clearance landed at Hoolahan’s feet and he stabbed it over the line.
Don’t expect to see it as part of the Goal of the Month compilation, but the 33 year’s old strike is notable because it means he’s being directly involved in seven of Norwich’s 18 goals this season.
That’s more than any other Norwich player, and 38.9% of their goals.

7 – Wes Hoolahan has been involved in more PL goals this season (seven – two goals, five assists) than any other Norwich City player. Level.

It could’ve been eight goals, but Cameron Jerome skied a chance over from seven yards after a wonderful back-heel pass from Wes.
Twitter users were full of praise for the Dubliner’s performance.
Wes Hoolahan is just delicious #NOREVE

If Wes Hoolahan was playing for a team like Arsenal we'd be talking about him being in the same class as Mesut Özil. #COYBIG
