Northern Irish fans know the 23 men that will pursue the Euro 2016 dream on their behalf.
First off – and you can all relax now – Will Griggs is in the squad.
Michael O’Neill has selected his squad for Northern Ireland’s first ever European Championships and it contains the bulk of the players that got them to France.
When it came to the official announcement, however, the Irish Football Association splurged a heap of cash on an epic, sweeping production.
Set on the North Antrim coastline, the announcement is an audio-visual wonder. Using the Giant’s Causeway as a back-drop the names of the 23 lucky souls, and O’Neill’s dulcet tones, ring out.
The bombastic ball is now in the FAI’s court for next Tuesday with England’s announcement expected before that.
