The Monday Night Football pundits have selected a Premier League team of the season so far.
Jamie Carragher, and guest for the evening Thierry Henry, both agreed on these players:
Arsenal full-backs Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal are joined by Spurs centre-half Toby Alderweireld.
In midfield, N’Golo Kanté of Leicester City takes his place alongside his teammate Riyad Mahrez and Mesut Ozil.
Jamie Vardy is the lone-front man in the a 4-2-3-1 formation.
The remaining positions were put for up for Twitter vote, and the inclusion of Alexis Sanchez, ahead of West Ham’s Dimitri Payet, didn’t go down well with Jamie Carragher.
The former Liverpool defender, who had argued for the inclusion of Payet, laughed and called the decision a “joke”.
Twitter users also voted for Stoke City’s Jack Butland ahead of David de Gea. Chris Smalling ahead of Laurent Koscielny and Ross Barkley ahead of Santi Carzorla.
