What a weekend of sport. What a weekend for Tiger Woods.

Tiger Woods’ comeback might be one of the greatest stories in the history of sport, but it is golf, after all. The Premier League title race meanwhile continues to grip. Liverpool produced one of their best performances in recent months to beat Chelsea, but they are running out of games and need Manchester City to slip up soon.

On The Football Spin, Paddy McKenna and Dion Fanning discuss the title race and why there are almost two title races, the one involving Manchester City which is taking place in a serene way, and the one with Liverpool in it, a race full of drama and desperation.

Liverpool appear to be finding form but is it too late? Tony Evans doesn’t think so and he talks about the return to form of Jordan Henderson, why Naby Keita has blossomed and how the Mo Salah factor remained important even when he wasn’t scoring goals.

Tony was at Selhurst Park today to watch Manchester City’s win against Crystal Palace and he has spotted some weaknesses in the champions, but will they be enough to prevent them winning another title?

Pep Guardiola is under more pressure than Jurgen Klopp, Tony insists, but while that might undermine City in the Champions League, are there enough good teams left in their remaining Premier League games to slow them down?

City have to travel to Old Trafford but there is little to suggest they can stop City when their recent form is considered. Tony provides some insight into the Manchester United project as it stands.

There is also time to discuss Tiger Woods and his greatness, but also to reflect on another bad weekend for the FAI and why there needs to be radical change at the association.
